"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

I think I caught him in between a smile and a yawn.
Chad got Carly a slip n' slide last week. She didn't quite get the idea of it until Chad started pushing her down on her belly. As you can tell, by the look on her face, she loved it!

On memorial day Chad decided to hang a tire swing for Carly. He did a pretty good job and she likes to swing high. She always says "high" when we push her.

These were some pictures I attempted to take of Carly since she turned two. She was being a typical two year old that day and was not cooperating. When I told her to look at the camera she looked away and would not smile at all!! She is such a stinker sometimes, but a cute one at least!

I remember always being jealous of your slip n' slide growing up. Us Fawsons had to use industrial plastic my dad would buy at the Home Depot. We'd fasten it down with rocks at the corners. Not pleasant to run into at the end of your slippery journey. You guys had a real one. Didn't it have an alligator at the end of it?
