"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

Annie's First Christmas!

I had to snap a few pictures of Miss Annie in her Christmas outfit (that Chad purchased! I was so proud. minus the leggings, I bought those!)  She is such a cute little thing, We just can't get enough of her! She really digs the bows on the presents (not the bow on her head.)

Fun with the parents

Pictures are not in any order.
My parents came to visit us for a week.  It was so fun having them here and we packed the week full of fun stuff!
The last night they were here we went to this fun place! It's the 3rd year that we've been and I think it gets better every time. Although this year no coats were needed so it was kind of weird.

One of the days we drove down to Galveston and spent the day.  It's always fun to be able to play on the beach in the middle of December in shorts!

Chad wears his shirt proudly (It was a birthday presant from me!)

Eating at the Rainforest Cafe.  Annie loved the tables!
Smiling at Grandpa

This picture cracks me up.  It looks like she's plotting something evil.
Carly was so excited to give Grandma and Grandpa some Christmas presants.

While waiting in line for Santa there was an Elf that was reading from the naughty and nice list.  Unfortunately I was put on the naughty list.
Sam and Carly got to sing some Christmas songs up on stage.  They loved it!

7 months!

Annie at 7 months:
-Can roll both ways now.  She's all over the place now.
-Sits up by herself for short periods of time.
-Was sick (still is) while taking these pictures.  She had just woken up.
-Has so many rolls on her legs compared to my other two at this age.
-Loves being outside.
-I think she's starting to try to talk now. Instead of random noises she'll actually make noises back to me when I talk to her.
-For being sick she still sleeps pretty good through the night.
-She is definitely an early riser.
-She loves to suck on her toes.
-She still LOVES bath time.
-She does great in the car now. She's getting better at sleeping on the go.

We just love her to pieces.

Thanksgiving week

Carly had a whole week off of school.  I was kind of dreading it because she gets so bored at home, but the week went by and it was great! It was kind of nice having all the kids home with me.

Playing on the hay bales.  Always lots of fun!

Then we said Hello to the goats....

And Phil said Hello to us.

Carly accessorized her sister.

Cousin sleepover!! (they are pretending to be asleep in the 2nd picture)

Getting ready for Turkey day by being a turkey head!

Had to snap a few of miss Annie in her Thanksgiving attire! (shirt was previously worn by Sam. It worked for a girl too!)

Eating some good grub!

a little face off...or bumper cars?

a round of Monopoly (that of course, lasted FOREVER!)

visiting with family!

It was such a fun week, now onto Christmas right?
