My baby is not a baby :(

Las night Sam fell asleep while I was holding him. This rarely (actually never) happens. It was a rare occasion when he was a baby too (he was not a cuddler) I just held him for a little and it really hit me that he is not a baby anymore. He's almost three! Where did the time go? I have to admit, it made me even more baby hungry (but what doesn't these days?) When Sam was a baby I always secretly thought " I can't wait till he's older" Mostly because I was overwhelmed with the fact that I had a two year old and a newborn, man I would love to have those days back sometimes! Now, I find myself regreting even thinking that! I wish he would just stay little. The closer he gets to three the more I realize how fast time is flying and he is getting too big and too smart for me to handle! At least he's kind enough to stay in diapers for me right? ;) Anyway, this post really doesn't have a point to it, I guess I just need to remind myself to not regret things I may have thought in the past and to enjoy the stage I'm in now because before I know it my baby will be a teenager and then I really won't know what to do!

The sun is shining! Not to rub it in to you northern folk, okay, I'm rubbing it in just a tad but that's only so I can get you to come visit!

This was the sunset the other day. Of course the camera doesn't do it justice. It was so pretty!

We went to the lake again last weekend. We were there for most the day. The kids (and I) loved it!

Hooray for spring!

Our garden is coming along quite well. It's exciting to see everything popping up and growing everyday! It still amazes me how easy it is to grow things! I love spending time out there, watering, weeding, planting. It's peaceful and it's rewarding. We are going to have an abundance (I hope) of most of the things we planted. I can't wait till harvest time!

Our lettuce and Spinach is really growing nicely. It's so great to have fresh lettuce everyday!

These two pictures are of all the flowers I'm starting. Some of them I won't start till the end of summer. I'm so excited. Growing things is so much fun!!

Mimi brought her horses yesterday to ride around on our property. It was a lot of fun. Carly loved to ride Coco, she would've sat on him for ever!

Carly has been into fancying herself up lately. She has a bunch of old clip on earring and jewelry from Chad's mom. She loves it!
