"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

What we've been up to!

I decided it would be fun to make some Halloween decorations. I only have a few items that I've bought in the past. I didn't really feel like going out and spending money on new ones so I tried to think of a way to make something festive.....a black and orange paper chain is the only thing I could think of. So I printed off some Halloween coloring pages for Carly to color. She handed me the orange and black strips of paper to put together and ta-da! We had a Halloween decoration!
Over the weekend we celebrated my mom-in-law's b-day. We just had a little get together with family. These pictures of Carly and Adam were taken after Carly got in trouble for being naughty to the cat. I guess Adam felt bad that she had to sit in time-out. They have a love-hate relationship as most two-year olds do.

Here is the birthday girl with little Sambo.
