"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

Check these out!

Okay, so I'm on a posting frenzy today! I just can't help myself. I found these pics from good old girls camp, back in the day. I just thought they were a little funny. They brought back a lot of good memories. I just keep thinking how cheated my young women are here. Their girls camp consists of cabins, showers, real toilets, and air conditioning (which you do need that here in texas in the summer) I just wish they could experience girls camp the way it's suppose to be.

I can't believe you posted those pics! Ahhh the memories! Those were some good times! I'm with you on the whole girls camp thing. Our girls here do it in cabins and showers... that's not camping!!
Look how little we look! I remember not being able to do a lot of beathing in that lovely black dress. Why again were we wearing those?

Crystal-- We should never wear such hat's again. We look like cancer patients!

Thanks for the good memories Danette!

Those are hilarious! Just you wait though...I also have pics from our childhood that I could bust out...

Emma, you can count on me to never wear a hat like that again. For the RS birthday party this year, our ward's theme is "Hats Off to Relief Society" and everyone is supposed to wear a hat. What am I going to do?

Crystal- Good luck with the hat theme. I wouldn't wear a cancer patient hat if I were you. I don't wear hats these days, Kevin says I look like an elephant. It's true, I do. My ears stick out!
