"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

New Braunfels!!

We spent most of this week in New Braunfels, TX. It's such a fun place and now that my baby is not really a baby anymore we were able to do a lot and have a lot of fun! We rented a house and shared it with Chad's sister and bro-in-law. Chad's parents had driven up there the day before we arrived. The two pictures below were taken in Gruene (green) TX. We spent most our days there playing in the river (although the water was freezing) Sam LOVED it, Carly liked staying close to shore looking for fish and seashells.

All the pictures below were from playing in the river. It was so relaxing and fun! I can't wait to go back!

We also went to the drive through zoo. The kids had so much fun! Sam wasn't so sure about getting close to them but Carly of course loved it!

We had so many funny videos to choose from. I tried to put them in order but I don't think they are. The one of Sam crying was after he got scared by the ostrich and he was telling Chad about it! The one with the Zebra is awesome, we couldn't have planned it any better!
