"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

Here are some pictures. I have more on my camera, these are from a cell phone so they aren't very big. The top picture is of our backyard. A lot of tree limbs fell but no real damage. The next picture is of our street. One of the many pine trees that fell across the road. Like I said, it's amazing what wind can do! THe last picture is of a house in our neighborhood. This poor car had no chance! I really can't explain what this place looks like. It still doesn't feel real. We are in the car right now. We had to drive an hour get groceries and gas!! Let me tell you...it's a scary feeling when all the groceries stores near you are running out of food! Let's hope they can stock their shelves soon! Even an hour away from our house the gas stations are running out of gas and the food on the shelves were emptying by the minute. It is a madhouse here! I don't ever want to go through this again!

Jenny texted me today and asked about you. She heard you guys got hit with the storm and asked me to see if you guys were ok, and if you needed anything.

Wow! That would really suck to have a huge tree fall on your car! I would have made sure all my stuff was inside and that my cars were out of the way of trees if not in the garage!

Those pictures are crazy! A tornando went through our town a couple years ago and power was out for a couple days.. I can't imagine 4 weeks! Hopefully it doesn't take that long! Keep us posted!!!

Wow what a mess! It got really windy here (hurricane force winds) about a week & a half ago & it blew trees right out of the ground! We don't have anything too huge around us but we did pull kevin's motorcycle in just before they hit & luckily we did cause our neighbors a few houses down had their blow right over!
