"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

Oh Christmas Tree....

We went and got a Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving. I wanted to get it up soon since we won't be here for Christmas. Carly wanted to help decorate but she didn't quite get the idea of putting ornaments on the tree, she just wanted to play with them. It is difficult to keep her from pulling them all off but it isn't bad for the most part. Don't mind if the tree is crooked a little. We had the hardest time getting it this straight! For some reason it just wants to lean.

If you want to see a crooked tree just look at mine, and mine's not even real! The top section on mine is kinda loose, and doesn't stay strait, and I can't tighten it. Your looks good though!

That's such a pretty tree! One of these days we'll get a real one. I miss the smell of the real trees.

THe tree looks great. Don't worry about the leaning thing. I can't get my star to stay straight.
