"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

sleeping and possums

So, the past couple weeks (ever since he's mastered climbing out of his crib) at night when we check on Sam we usually have to pick him up from the floor in front of his door (there are times where we can't even open the door because he's fallen asleep right in front of it) and put him back in his crib. The other night Chad when to check on him. He opened the door and Sam wasn't on the floor, he wasn't in his bed. Chad finally realized he'd upgraded and fallen asleep on his rocking chair. It's so funny to us because Carly never did stuff like this. She would always stay in her bed. He is one funny guy even in his sleep!
One of our nightly visitors. Skipper thinks he's so tough!

That thing look MEAN! He better not mess with my grandkids.

And little Sambo man that is so funny that he would fall asleep in his chair. Why not just stay in bed I don't get these little people if they only new how precious sleep was in a nice bed.

Sam cracks me up! Did he bring the blanket down too? I am too much of a light sleeper, I would have heard something :-)

Maybe we won't come visit til that possum is dead ;-)

Brit- the rocking chair is in his room. He just falls asleep in random places!
