I was also crazy enough to make sugar cookies this year. I must admit, they are far better than the one's I made last year. I ended up with 5 1/2 dozen. 3 dozen of those were for a cookie exchange party. The rest we had to pawn off to people because I was sick of looking at them!
"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

And your cookies look amazing! you need to teach me & share all your recipes and secrets!
I would have taken some of those cookies off your hands, they would have mailed fine :) It was fun watching you guys decorate your tree.
those cookies look professional. I still haven't figured out how to make frosting look good. maybe one day :)
In 2008 i focused on simplifying my life, eating healthy ,paying off my debt, and put my energy into building a blog.
In 2009 i hope to clear my debt and start saving so i have some more freedom to have a better work / life balance and have time to redevelop realtionships with people i care about.
Thanks for great article with some very interesting links to more detailed information.
