"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

New Year, same old me.

This girl brings out so many emotions (and mostly within a matter of minutes)  Lately her new thing is switching outfits 50 times a day. (and no, I'm not exaggerating)
Some of her outfit choices are quite comical.  Eli was really confused by this mask she was wearing.
Notice her necklace, she will not wear this dress without wearing the necklace.

This is what her closet ends up looking like on a daily basis. I actually quit cleaning it up last week because, well, I got sick of cleaning it. She insists on emptying all of her drawers and some of Carly's.
She also mix and matches dress up clothes with her actual clothes.

This little man is seriously a dream baby.  I can't imagine my life without him.  He is so good and so content with life. It really amazes me some days. He is so easy going (which is great considering the girl pictures above is not)
His new thing is just playing by himself in his room with his toys. He loves to empty his toy bins and stick toys in random places.  On more than one occasion I've found little toys stuck inside my boots.

I love beginning a new year and making resolutions. It seems like the past few years my goals have all been the same. I suppose it's either because they are really good goals or I haven't mastered them yet. Actually it's probably both.
The year 2014 was a year of surviving.  Most days were hard. Most days were filled with just trying to make it till bedtime, but thankfully it's easy to forget the rough times.

Hopefully 2015 I will be able to work my way out of living in survival mode.

First of all, I miss those little faces! I also love Annie's plunging neckline. Wowza girl! ;)

You will make it through this period of survival mode and on to the next. Each phase brings new survival coping mechanisms. Just remember to enjoy the journey as you endure to the end. Which is often times much easier said than done. Forgive yourself. Laugh, and remember that every day is a fresh start.

You are a fantastic mom and you are doing a great work! As for the closet disaster? Who cares, right? Just shut the door and then you don't have to see it. I have a lot of doors shut at my house right now....:)

Love ya sis!
