"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives. May we comply with the inspired counsel and direction the Lord has given us in the great plan of happiness. May we be worthy to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost and follow the guidance of the Spirit as we navigate this mortal journey. May we prepare ourselves to accomplish the ultimate purpose of this mortal test- to return and live with our Heavenly Father."

6 months!

It happened. My little baby has turned half a year old! So sad!  It seems like we waited forever to get her and now she's 6 months old! It's just not fair. Looking at these pictures makes my heart hurt a little because of how fast time is really flying.

 Miss Annie at 6 months:
Annie turned 6 months old yesterday!
*She has become quite the spunky little gal.  Her little personality is really coming alive!
*She can give the biggest grins but reserves them for very few people.
*She also has the cutest little laugh.
*She cries when other people try to hold her or even talk to her for that matter. I guess she's always been this way from birth. (I'm not going to lie, I kinda like that she's a mamma's girl!)
*She rolls from her front to her back. She still hasn't mastered the other way.
*She can't quite sit up by herself yet, but she loves tummy time.
*She spits up still but WAY less frequent than in the past. It's been so nice!
*She is now wearing mostly 6-9 month clothes.  The 9 months seem to fit better.
*Still no teeth.  She seems to have been working on her bottom two teeth forever!
*She loves to give kisses and will attack your face at any given moment.
*She loves to lay on her back and grab at her feet.
*She just got over another little cold a couple days ago and is now sleeping through the night again.
*She is loving baby food.  She's not a fan of the baby oatmeal though.
*She still would prefer to be held most the day but is so much better at being on the floor with some toys.
*Doesn't cry so much in the car seat anymore.  It's been bearable to actually drive places now.
*She knows how to brighten my day just by smiling.  She has me wrapped around her finger.
