So...I came downstairs the other morning and this is how I found our little monkey. I think she was hungry, what do you think?

Happy Birthday to Chad!!

The big 24!! I just want to wish Chad a Happy Birthday today!! We celebrated his b-day last night with all his family. He wanted a cookie cake so that is what he got! You can't tell from the picture but it was a guy in a fishing boat on the cookie. I thought that fit him perfectly!! I love you Chad!

Oh Christmas Tree....

We went and got a Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving. I wanted to get it up soon since we won't be here for Christmas. Carly wanted to help decorate but she didn't quite get the idea of putting ornaments on the tree, she just wanted to play with them. It is difficult to keep her from pulling them all off but it isn't bad for the most part. Don't mind if the tree is crooked a little. We had the hardest time getting it this straight! For some reason it just wants to lean.

A Texas Thanksgiving!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving this year. As you will see from the pictures it was quite interesting also! WE had a "traditional Thanksgiving" we could either dress up as pilgrims or Indians. Chad and I chose to be Indians. Luckily a cold front came through the night before which brought the temperature down to 50 degrees which stopped Chad from wearing a loin cloth. We decided to wear headbands with feathers (I know, boring.) I also realized when I got home that we never took any pictures of our Indian costumes...oh well. We had a great time with family, some of them really went all out with dressing up. The food was great, the entertainment was defiantly great, the weather...not so great but at least it felt like fall!

Carly and Miss Kitty

We have finally achieved pig-tail worthy hair!

Sunday morning we decided to let Miss Kitty in for a while. Carly loves Miss Kitty as you can see. And I must say Miss Kitty is the best sport for putting up with Carly, Lady and Skipper. She is one tough kitten.

Snow!

Unfortunately it's not real snow! We were at the mall the other night and in one of the middle kiosks they had this fake snow. It is such cool stuff. It comes in a powder and all you do is add 2 ounces of water to 1 tsp. of powder and voila...you have snow! You can even freeze it for a couple hours and it will feel cold! The best part is, if you let it dry out for four weeks you can re-pack it and save it for next year! Carly loves the stuff, although after a while she gets a little crazy and it end up all in her hair as you can tell by the pictures.

BFF's

I just thought this was funny. Occasionally we let Miss Kitty in the house and she makes herself right at home. She is just like one of the dogs!

Kitchen Table

I'm finally posting a picture of our kitchen table. We got it right after we moved in but I just never posted a picture and Brittany reminded me that I hadn't so here it is!

Chad thought it would be fun to line up some stuffed animals in Carly' s window. She thought it was fun to knock them all down.

Salt Lake City

On November 2, Carly and I made a trip to Salt Lake for my Grandpa's 80th Birthday. It was really fun and I got to see a lot of family that I haven't been able to see in a while. I was able to stay for a whole week. Just enough for Mark and Desirae to get sick of us at their house :) It was fun to be in Salt Lake again and to have nice COOL weather! I loved it! The pictures above are just some things that we did while we were there. Carly was such a good girl and loved being around all the kids. She followed Josh (my nephew) around everywhere just saying his name. It was pretty funny!

Halloween

This is a house that is just down the street from us. They went all out with decorations, it looks really cool in the dark but the pictures don't really turn out. We stayed home for Halloween (not by choice, it's a long story!). Carly helped pass out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. She actually sat in a chair for quite a while, she thought she was being such a big helper.

Trunk-or-Treat

Carly was our little pink poodle for Halloween. she actually did really well wearing it. We went to a trunk-or-treat on Tuesday night. She didn't really get the idea of it. She just had fun running around trying to walk Skipper. Skipper just enjoyed smelling all the new people around him. It was pretty fun!

Pumpkin Carving

We had everyone over at our house last Monday to carve pumpkins. It was really fun and all the pumpkins turned out great!! Carly didn't have a problem with all the gooey stuff inside the pumpkins. She helped take it out and put it back in!
